Job Opportunities for qualified Youth – Japan
Two types of recruitment programmes are currently available .
Specified Skilled Worker Programme (SSWP)
The above program was started based on the cooperation agreement signed in Tokyo on 19.06.2019 between Japanese government and the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau with the aim of providing employment opportunities in Japan for Sri Lankan youth with recognized professional skills.
Technical Intern Trainees Proggramme (TITP)
In accordance with the Memorandum Of Understanding signed in 2017 by the International Manpower Development Organization in JAPAN (IM JAPAN) Company representing Japan and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment on behalf of recruiting candidates who wish to migrate for employments in Japan, providing overseas employment opportunities for Japan. These job opportunities are done as Technical Intern Trainees (TIT) recruitment subject to 03 years or 05 years durations.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the International Manpower Development Organization in JAPAN (IM JAPAN) and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for recruitment in 2017, Technical Intern Trainees (TIT) opportunities are provided for Sri Lankan youth.

Recruitment Procedure
Physical Fitness test activities
Written Examination
General knowledge Test –
For Caregiving
Conducting the first interview for those who pass the physical fitness test.
Candidates who pass the first interview will be referred for the final interview.
Referral of candidates who pass the final interview for medical examination.
Directing the selected applicants for a 04-month residential pre-immigration training course for the construction sector and 05-month for the nursing sector to provide a comprehensive awareness of the Japanese language, how to live and work there.
Preparing visa documents and forwarding the documents to the visa processing agency.

Documents required for SLBFE registration·
According to the agreement signed between the International Relations Organization (IRO) and the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment for recruitment, Technical Intern Trainees (TIT) opportunities are provided for Sri Lankan youth.
In order to apply for this Programme the following qualifications are required

Guiding the selected applicants after obtaining the visa till departure abroad. (Airline tickets of the concerned trainees will be provided freely by IRO.
