The “Talk to Chairman” program launched by the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment offers a direct channel for the public, especially the migrant worker community, to voice their unresolved issues concerning foreign employment. Initiated by the new Chairman SLBFE , Mr. Kosala Wickramasinghe, this program aims to provide solutions promptly by giving the Chairman personal oversight of the complaints.
This initiative demonstrates a shift toward more efficient, responsive, and people-centered service. Through various avenues, such as a dedicated unit at the main office, a complaint box, and communication via phone 0112 864188, WhatsApp 0717 593 593, and email talkchairman@slbfe.lk, the bureau seeks to address problems and enhance the relationship between the bureau and the people. The move represents a more modern and proactive approach to handling the challenges faced by Sri Lankan workers abroad, bridging gaps in communication and offering swift resolutions.
