The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency, under the Ministry of Labor, has announced its new board of directors. Chartered Engineer Mr. Ananda Lal Hettiarachi has been appointed as the chairman. Other board members include Prasad Manjula Hettiarachchi, a Chartered Engineer and Chartered General Manager of Human Resources; Aminda Lakmal, Senior Lecturer in Marketing Promotion at the University of Sri Jayawardenepura; Udana Indika Wijeratne, an ICT graduate; and Vishwa Hirantha Kuruvita, a Chartered and Certified Management Accountant.
The formal appointments were presented to them on October 24 by Mr. Koshala Wickramasinghe, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE). Also in attendance were SLBFE General Manager DDP Senanayake, Additional General Managers Anura Liyanwala and Gamini Senarath Yapa, and Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency’s General Manager Priyantha Weerasekera (SLBFE Additional General Manager).
